What we do.
The Mountain West Bull Test is designed to provide producers with objective information to support sound breeding decisions.
What the test measures
The test measures performance gains over a four month development period. Data is collected at monthly intervals to generate reports that help producers and buyers evaluate growth, efficiency, and overall performance.
UBIA STANDARDS
All bulls must meet UBIA standards for performance and health, and pass a breeding soundness and structural evaluation prior to qualifying for the sale. UBIA reserves the right to remove bulls from the test and sale that do not meet requirements for soundness, disposition, or performance.
The Mountain West Bull Test serves as the foundation for the Annual Performance Bull Sale, where bulls that meet program standards are offered to commercial producers.
